The Cabybara and the Baby Chicks

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A reluctant capybara spent some time babysitting for a group of more than a dozen chirping baby chicks.

JoeJoe the Capybara managed to keep his composure and chew on a piece of lettuce as the rowdy chicks chirped and wandered about his bed."

A capybara is basically a giant rat, and it scares the Bejesus out of me. If my house was infested by capybaras, I would run screaming out of my home in my underwear, and call an exterminator and an exorcist from the safety of the nearest church.

But these baby chicks don`t seem to be bothered at all by the capybara, they are too young and innocent to recognize pure evil.

The capybara chews on a piece of lettuce and ignores the playful chicks. The capybara reminds me of a babysitter that "took care of me", she would paint her fingernails while I wrote on the walls and played with matches.
